Sr. Structural Engineer - Elite Sourcing LLC

Elite Sourcing LLC is working with a leading architecture firm and is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Structural Engineer you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity and safety of buildings and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop effective and efficient structural solutions.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis using software and manual calculations.
• Prepare and review structural drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and provide recommendations for repair or retrofitting.
• Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• AutoCAD and Revit is required
• Experience working on commercial projects and background in a similar A/E firm is preferred
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
