Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
Company Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting within the construction industry, combined with expertise in managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and cost analysis. Proficiency in Sage 300 is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage subcontractor payments and lien waivers.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Prepare and issue customer invoices.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Record payments and reconcile accounts.
- Payroll Administration:
- Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll for employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and payroll tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Cost Analysis:
- Analyze project costs, monitor budgets, and identify variances.
- Provide detailed financial reports to management to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- General Accounting Support:
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare reconciliations.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
