As an experienced, energetic, Salesforce Engineer: You will play a key role in maximizing the efficacy of our Salesforce application. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing of bugs fixes and new features, and integrations. You will work as a collaborative team member within a multi-platform team. The Sr. Software Engineer - Salesforce earns competitive compensation from $140,000*
This is an onsite position in our Lakewood, CO office.
Responsibilities:What You Will Do in This Role
- Develop scalable applications that solves real business challenges with intuitive design.
- Write software that is easy for anyone to maintain and is highly testable.
- Participate in an agile development environment and contributing to the success of agile ceremonies.
- Develop and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of solutions on the Salesforce platform to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build lightning web components
- Build custom triggers and external tools to maintain data, import and export data, and for application integrity.
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
- Participate in the planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
- Collaborate to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor less-experienced software engineers.
Qualifications:
What You Need to Join Our Team
REQUIRED:
- Considerable professional software engineering experience in Salesforce.
- This position will spend significant time working on Lightning Web Components. Substantial experience in LWCs or other JavaScript frameworks is required.
- Ability to take initiative, understand the big picture, compromise, weigh pros and cons of decisions, and assess risk.
- Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL and SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as Flow and Validation Rules.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs, and External Objects.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Considerable experience writing and maintaining code assets such as apex classes, lightning web components, triggers.
- Considerable experience building custom triggers, salesforce events, and external tools to maintain data, import and export data, and for application integrity.
- Considerable experience building unit testing standards well above and beyond purely meeting Salesforce code coverage requirements.
- Experience writing Lightning Web Components and/or comfortable in a current JavaScript framework
RECOMMENDED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
- Salesforce Platform Developer Architect
- Salesforce Platform App Builder
