About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Investigate new technology products and their suppliers to add to products that can provide Sales Representation for.
- Focus on establishing new accounts by finding, providing and applying technological solutions to the customers processes.
- Secure new accounts with technology product providers.
- Analysis of customers, products, processes and needs and recommends and manages complex resolution.
- Serves customers by applying technical solutions to customer’s needs.
- Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex issues by applying new technology.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing work schedule to call on existing or potential sales.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, technology, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Qualification:
- Bachelors (Masters preferred) in Mechanical / Industrial / Automotive / Manufacturing Engineering with 3 to 5 experience in Pre-sales or Technical support of engineering solutions involving cutting edge technology in A/I or Robotics or IoT.
- Must have had Industry exposure to understand current and future needs of Automotive / Manufacturing industry and applies broad knowledge of technology applications and/or engineering principles.
- Must have very good understanding of use cases of A/I, IoT in Auto / manufacturing industry.
- Excellent technical understanding of intelligent solutions and applications for effective sales activities.
- Basic IT literacy to understand the architecture of SaaS system (development experience as an engineer is preferred).
