About the Job
•Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management system per ISO 9001, UL, FM, and other product approval Requirements.
•Ensures compliance to quality policy, Standard Operating Procedure, ISO9001 standards and requirements.
•Hands on approach to Developing and enforcing Implementation of Quality Assurance System for:
o Incoming raw materials,
o In Process and pre startup / setup
o Finished Product Quality Assurance system and traceability.
•Communicates quality standards and expectations to employees, suppliers, and customers.
•Leads customer complaint investigation, warranty claim response and resolution, root cause analysis & corrective action implementation.
o Conducts jobsite visits and works with contractors/customers to identify and resolve field quality issues.
o Managing a partnership with the Field Services team to help resolve customer issues.
•Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of Quality Management System, associated processes, key metrics, cost of non-conformances, and in turn enhances customer value.
•Responsible for managing internal / external audits and the corrective / preventive action process.
•Leading, coaching, and the career development of the Quality Assurance team
•Works closely with all other departments to define and improve workflow processes.
•Ensure employees are fully trained on Quality Assurance requirements, including SOPs.
•Measurement Systems - Ensure robust measurement tools are made available to QC inspection points. Ensure test methods and equipment is repeatable.
•Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
•Must be willing to travel (U.S. and Canada) (approx. 5-15% travel).
Additional Compliance Responsibilities:•Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance.
o 2.4.1 Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures.
o 2.4.2 Participate in training as required.
Education/Experience:•Bachelor's degree in engineering or a manufacturing related discipline
•Three (3) to five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
•Experience working in a construction environment.
•In depth knowledge of ISO9001:2015 with auditing experience.
•Experience with 8D Corrective action methodology.
Other Skills and Requirements:•Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
•Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
•Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
