Job Description :
- DivIHN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Project Manager. Candidate will report to the Director of the Program Management Center of Expertise organization and be responsible for both managing assigned IT projects and helping to mature the PMCoE operation.
IT projects assigned will involve planning, coordination, and execution of various ERP, Salesforce, IT Service Management, Cybersecurity, Microsoft, AI exploration, and/or data fo-cused technology projects across multiple technology platforms. These projects may be DivIHN internal but more often will be part of a DivIHN client initiative and will vary in technology plat-forms and scope.
PMCoE maturity work will involve helping to improve the corporate project process, refining documentation, working toward a centralized Project Portfolio Management software, and coaching project managers on project operations.
- A Senior Project Manager is expected to have more experience than other project managers and may manage a single, large initiative or multiple smaller projects at once with minimal oversight.
- Strong at-tention to project planning and tracking task details, expert milestone and activity tracking, and ad-vanced stakeholder and leader communications skills are critical.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience and strong communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to prepare and present project content to both hands-on technical personnel and VP/C-Level executives. The ideal candidate will have broad foundational knowledge in many types of IT systems as well as flexible capabilities within MS Project, JIRA, and Agile. The ideal candidate would approach work in a team focused, collaborative way and be capable of demonstrating trust and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning: Clarify and secure project scope. Forecast project timelines, resource needs, and projected costs. Organize any logical project phases and build detailed, logical and readable project plans to aid task assignments and client status reporting. Oversee and actively manage the project's planning and implementation.
Leadership: Manage and lead mid-size project teams. Monitor and ensure stakeholder satisfac-tion. Create weekly status reports for all projects managed, boldly manage difficult conversations when needed, and help coach others on PM best practices.
Project Management: Manage resources, schedules, and financials. Adhere to quality and con-trol guidelines including CMMI3 and ISO requirements if applicable. Demonstrate active project plan usage and leverage that plan to assign tasks and ensure team members are clear on ac-tions and delivery dates. Schedule and lead team, stakeholder, and executive level meetings with appropriate presentation deliverables. Track and report project performance against prede-fined metrics, taking corrective actions if necessary to ensure the project is up to date and project documentation is accurately recorded.
Problem-solving: Monitor progress, set deadlines, solve issues, and manage shifting priorities. Analyze and present multiple solutions along with project positive recommendations.
Risk management: Identify, assess, document, and control threats to the project. Actively manage risk and issue logs and help drive closure on any related mitigation actions.
Process improvement: Contribute to initiatives that improve project delivery on specific prob-lems and the broader Program Management CoE. Work closely with the PMCoE Director to fur-ther project management expertise within the company and help standardize project processes and reporting.
Business and Technology: Learn and be able to field questions on project related business pro-cesses and technology aspects. Background as a technologist is strongly preferred.
Collaboration and Communication: Actively and openly collaborate with project team, internal stakeholders, client project team, and client executives/stakeholders. Provide polished written deliverables to each audience with messaging tuned for the purpose of the communication and for the audience of the document.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in IT, project management, or related field is required.
Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in diverse project management roles is required.
Strong hands-on understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches, risk mitigation, milestone management, and with the ability to tailor methodologies to specific project needs is required.
PMP certification or comparable is preferred.
Must have the ability to deliver varying IT projects and provide expert communication across technical and non-technical personnel with minimal senior leader oversight.
Expertise with Project Portfolio Management toolsets and PMO related startups is preferred.
