We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Time Sr. Network Engineer to join our dynamic and growing technology team. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, design, management, and security. As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure of our organization. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting any network-related issues, ensuring optimal network performance, and maintaining the security and integrity of our network systems. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on Linux and Arista.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage the company's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
2. Conduct thorough network assessments to identify potential issues and recommend solutions for improvement.
3. Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement network strategies and plans.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.
5. Maintain and update network security systems to protect the company's data and information.
6. Conduct regular network performance tests and monitor network systems for any irregularities or issues.
7. Keep abreast of the latest network technologies and trends, and make recommendations for enhancements or upgrades when necessary.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other team members.
9. Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
10. Develop disaster recovery plans and participate in regular testing of these plans.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
3. Proven experience with Linux and Arista is a MUST.
4. Strong knowledge of network architecture, design, and management.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Knowledge of network security systems and protocols.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
11. Familiarity with other network technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, etc. is a plus.
12. Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends.
13. Ability to handle stressful situations and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
14. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
