About the Job
The Sr IT Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing day to day IT Asset Management (ITAM) operations for MYR Group, Inc. and subsidiary companies. The Sr. ITAM Specialist will play a key role in maintaining accurate documentation, database records, and reporting. The Specialist will maintain IT Hardware stock locations and inventory. The Sr ITAM Specialist will be responsible for guiding customers through various aspects of the asset management lifecycle, including providing training to other IT associates and/or the MYR user community, including planning, refreshing, and dispositioning.

Essential Functions
- Complete operational processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement
- Manage and maintain IT inventory including assessment of what needs to be ordered; resolve inventory and database conflicts
- Account for IT assets by utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization
- Verify, enter, and adjust ITAM data in a variety of forms, schedules, and reports
- Utilize the ITSM Tool and CMDB to track the entire life-cycle management for each asset to maintain warranty, financials, procurement, refresh date, and other information
- Oversee the receipt of product and maintenance of asset records to ensure goods are ordered, received, or returned
- Maintain the eWaste process through our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) vendors
- Own the Vendor Setup process, ensures invoices are coded correctly, and resolve issues
- Is the face of excellence in customer service to our users while guiding them to company standards
- Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Work with other departments to create and/or improve processes
- Work with team members and IT Manager, Assets and Procurement to complete duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with IT Asset Management, computer hardware, and inventory
- 3 years of experience working with an ITSM application and workflow documentation
- Beginner level to 3 years of experience with PowerBI or SQL is beneficial, not required
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in computer operations, accounting or business; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
- IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) (International Assoc of IT Asset Mgrs)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Mid-level knowledge and understanding of IT Asset Management software experience a plus
- Proven ability to assess and document process workflows
- Excellent understanding of Company standards for usage of IT resources
- Ability to present and train other associates, and ensure processes are followed
- Mid to advanced knowledge of IT Hardware Asset Lifecycle and Inventory Management
- Advanced level computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Excel
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis including reporting, pivot tables, and formulas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment; accuracy and precise attention to detail
- Initiative-taker with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for resolution or improvements
- Customer-centric with the ability to work effectively with management and staff at all levels
- Goal-oriented and organized collaborator
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs of equipment up a stepladder
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $55,900-$70,720 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
