In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial insights, driving business performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to contribute to our financial planning and analysis efforts, while playing a crucial role in our company's financial future.
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will:
1. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Conduct detailed financial analysis to understand key business drivers and trends, and perform variance analysis to forecast and budget.
3. Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advises management accordingly to ensure targeted financial performance achievement.
4. Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial performance.
5. Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.
6. Manage the preparation of official annual financial statements.
7. Develop and implement effective strategic financial planning and strategy.
8. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality of financial reports and processes.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, and drive financial efficiency.
10. Provide financial insights and recommendations to our senior leadership team.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or economics.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, financial modeling, or related experience.
3. Solid knowledge of forecasting and budgeting, with experience in financial analysis and data-driven financial decision-making.
4. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced skills in Excel.
5. Strong understanding of financial statements and proficiency in financial accounting.
6. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically about business problems.
8. Strong presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
