The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business.
Responsible for forecasting Sales Revenue and Volumes for ARDx Infectious Disease Developed Markets U.S. Commercial.
Responsibilities:
- Daily/Weekly Reporting: provide leadership with daily insights on shipments, open orders, distributor & retail tracings, and sales flash.
- Support the funnel process by attending weekly calls for retail, government, and distributor segments to consolidate and leverage for weekly sales flash deliverables.
- Consolidate forecast update, perform week over week changes analysis, highlight key drivers.
- Update supply forecast.
- Works closely with the commercial and finance leadership to provide analytics support.
- Support forecasting for Binax OTC, Professional, Combo and Legacy Lateral Flow products. Each product has a complex forecasting model with multiple variables and inputs such as external COVID trend data points, distributor and retailer inventory levels, government contract timelines, sales tracings / sell out, etc.
- Prepare quarterly LBE, Plan, Confirmation and several ad hoc sales forecasts. Ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Support forecast accuracy reporting to Business Unit with Root Cause Analysis towards a future improvement.
- Support S&OP demand process for Binax OTC, Professional, Combo and Legacy Lateral Flow products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter and highly motivated

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
