Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer, Cloud to join our team. As the Senior Engineer, Cloud, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using the AWS and Azure platforms. You will collaborate closely with technology counterparts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment, management, and governance of cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, cloud automation, governance frameworks, and cloud security best practices.
QualificationsWhat you'll get to do:
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on the AWS and Azure platforms.
- Develop and implement cloud automation strategies to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency.
- Develop, implement and maintain “infrastructure as code” practice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
- Work closely with technology counterparts to align cloud initiatives with overall IT strategy and architecture.
- Implement and enforce cloud governance policies, ensuring adherence to security standards, compliance, and best practices.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and adoption of new cloud technologies, services, and tools to enhance system performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide expertise in cloud security and ensure the implementation of robust security controls and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity, and proactively identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other engineering team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging cloud technologies, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Who you are:
- 7+ Years’ experience working as a Cloud Engineer, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and experience with cloud automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation etc.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing cloud costs and performance.
- Excellent understanding of cloud security concepts and hands-on experience with security controls and practices in a cloud environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technology counterparts and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable cloud solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts, including VPN, DNS, load balancing, and routing in a cloud environment.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Azure certifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within fast paced rapidly growing company.

The salary range for this role is $155,000 per year - $177,000 per year.
