WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SeniorDirector of Business Development to join our team. This is a senior-level role designed for a proactive professional who excels in business development and has a proven track record in driving sales.
You’ll be a key player in our growth strategy, focusing on client acquisition and expanding our reach within key verticals, including Tech, AI, CPG, automotive, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify, pursue, and create new business opportunities. Manage end-to-end sales processes, including outreach, meetings, and closing deals in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs align with our agency's objectives.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies across integrated media, social platforms, and emerging technologies like AI and MarSci.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track and manage sales activities using HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM tools. Regularly update and report on the sales pipeline, including key metrics such as appointments, RFPs, and RFIs.

WHAT YOU'LL (IDEALLY) BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience: 5-7+ years in sales and marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years of direct responsibility in business development, ideally with in an advertising or marketing agency environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and CRM systems. Ability to craft persuasive (and bespoke) outreach emails and presentations.
- Soft Skills: Strong presentation skills (both in-person and virtual), research abilities, negotiation expertise, and exceptional time management.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with multiple sectors, with a particular emphasis on Tech, AI, CPG, automotive, possibly pharma, hospitality, and QSR. A strong understanding of current social media campaigns, influencer marketing, and media strategy.
