We are hiring a Sr. Director, Marketing. The Director of Strategic Marketing develops and implements marketing plans, analyzes market trends, supports sales with tools and training, and ensures alignment with business objectives to maximize product competitiveness and market capture.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and implement a short-range marketing plan, collaborating with all departments to ensure seamless execution of the plan.
- Identify key performance indicators, evaluate, and report on marketing effectiveness while consistently reaching targets for marketing initiatives.
- Create and oversee the execution of the comprehensive Marketing Annual Operating Plan in conjunction with the Life Science marketing communications team, ensuring maximum efficiency and impact.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of competitor strategies, market positioning, and product portfolios.
- Support sales and FAS teams by providing essential training, tools, and information for successful product line sales.
- Develop and tailor value propositions, messaging, and content that deeply resonate with key target audiences, and implement a strategic approach to effectively reach and engage these audiences.
- Continuously analyze customer needs and maintain and improve product line competitiveness.
- Implement a comprehensive marketing strategy globally and regionally to achieve business objectives.
- Assess the annual effectiveness of marketing activities, personnel, and organizational structure, ensuring alignment with the allocated budget.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing strategic marketing team.
- Develop, manage and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Execute strategies aligned with business objectives to drive growth and market capture.
- Define and refine product positioning and messaging to communicate the unique value of FUJIFILM’s life science products, ensuring consistency with the FISI brand strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of lead generation strategies and campaigns that drive qualified leads which support the sales pipeline.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, relevant content across various platforms to educate and engage our target audience.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the performance of marketing campaigns, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
Required Skills/Education
A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field is required, though a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience in the life sciences or biotechnology sector
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
- Extensive experience with competitor analysis and customer segmentation
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Sales and marketing principals and a technical background.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Salary and Benefits:
- For California, the base salary range for this position is $134,415 to $187,977 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
