About the Job

Vaco is partnering with an excellent organization looking for their next Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant. This role could be (Remote – EST) or hybrid location in Jacksonville, FL. To be considered, candidates must have 2+ year of corporate tax experience.

Duties Include:

Assist the Corporate Tax Manager with monthly, quarterly & annual closing process, sales tax filings and coordinate tax activities
Preparation of forecasts, annual budget, assist in quarterly tax projections and the annual tax returns.
Responsible for income tax provisions and compliance for federal consolidated returns, various state and local returns, and estimated tax payment calculations, sales and use tax returns, compliance & property taxes
Provide tax guidance on customer contracts when needed by the business units.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.
2-5+ years’ experience in corporate tax accounting
“Big Four” or national accounting firm audit experience is highly preferred
CPA or CMA is highly preferred.

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
