Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• • Perform detailed reconciliations of multiple bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation required for both internal and external audits. Work closely with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are posted, and financial data is accurate.
  • Provide support for additional accounting projects and tasks as requested by management, including financial analysis, budgeting assistance, and process improvement initiatives.

  Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a proven track record of managing complex reconciliations and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments, as well as with external auditors and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all aspects of financial reporting and reconciliations.
