A manufacturer in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. In this Senior Accountant role, the individual will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, supporting the annual audit, reconciliations, and month-end close. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to have strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Does this sound like you or someone you know? What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-6 years of accounting experience
- Must have inventory accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- CPA tracking is a nice to have
- Create and maintain accounting protocols and internal controls in compliance with US GAAP
- Budget preparation
- Participate in coordination of the annual audit
- Monitor and analyze inventory costs
- Month-end and year-end close
- Analyze company’s financial performance
- Create and manage GL account supporting schedules
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee AR
- Prepare journal entries
- Maintain fixed assets
- Great product at a stable company
- Future growth path to being promoted to Accounting Manager
- Ability to get involved with M&A work
- Low employee turnover
- Will have FP&A responsibilities
