Position Overview:
The Senior Supply Chain Manager for the Supply Chain Services group is responsible for overseeing supply chain compliance, procurement systems, and process management. This role includes managing compliance in areas such as anti-bribery, chemical management, trade compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, conflict minerals, and supplier master data for supplier onboarding. The manager will also oversee procurement systems, including but not limited to BaaN 5C, Infor LN, Coupa, Supplier Screening System, Service Parts Management, and Solumina. Additional responsibilities include managing the Supply Chain Quality Management System, facilitating process training, and driving process improvement initiatives.
This position reports to the Supply Chain Area Manager and focuses on enhancing supply chain processes to create value and reduce compliance risk. Leveraging knowledge of global supply chains and expertise in procurement, demand/response planning, quality performance management, and Lean principles, this role will define and sustain strategies to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a high-performing team, including Supply Chain Solutions Managers, Business Process Leads, Business Process Analysts, Digital Product Owners, Risk and Compliance Professionals, and Administrative Assistants.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., PSO, TMO, CS, GTC, GES, IT, Finance, Tax) to develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain performance and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to governmental, environmental, political, and geographic regulations impacting the supply base.
- Drive process improvement and sustainment through the Supply Chain Quality Management System.
- Oversee procurement systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the supply chain team, fostering professional development and driving team success.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Sponsor) to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in additional disciplines such as purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Professional certifications in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management, such as Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified in Integration Resource Management (CIRM).
- Strong understanding of global regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Proven success in developing, mentoring, and leading teams with strong communication, organizational planning, and interpersonal skills.
