Sr IT Network Engineer at US Tech Solutions

Job Description:

Responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, support and technical consultation for the communication network of the organization, as well as for the development of technical standards and interface applications. Includes expertise in 1or more of the following: voice and data networks or wireless services and network security disciplines to include firewalls, centralized management schemes such as system updates, patch distributions, log analysis and report generation, VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems).

Experience:

· Assist with business requirement assessment of new projects requested by NEER subsidiaries and help deploy/implement network solutions.

· Projects include infrastructure to support our back-office functions for wind, solar, nuclear and fossil plants, energy trading and SCADA IoT systems.

· Under limited supervision, contribute in a hands-on manner with the implementation of network infrastructure.

· Create as-built design documentation for all new projects and maintain the availability and integrity of our enterprise network security infrastructure.

· Maintain the security of network infrastructure and compliance with all applicable industry and security standards (NERC CIP, PCI, SOX etc.)

· Collaborates with client engineering and architecture groups; works with project team members to define requirements and deliver projects.

· Partners with Architects and project teams, to ensure integration of application / infrastructure architectures with enterprise blueprints and roadmaps.

· Excellent oral, written and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task projects with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s or relevant experience
