Title: Sr HR Generalist
Location: Southeastern United States (Regional Role)
Employment Type: Contract
Description:
• The Senior HR Generalist plays a vital role in managing human resources functions ranging from employee relations and compliance to recruitment and benefits coordination.
• This role requires a proactive individual who can manage moderately complex HR matters, provide employee guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
• The position also involves ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies while fostering a culture of inclusiveness and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
• Manage HR matters using employee handbooks and established policies, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Address general employee inquiries and manage HRIS transactions, including hires, terminations, and changes.
• Collaborate with compliance teams for workers' compensation claims and benefits teams for leave of absence cases.
• Partner with managers on ADA accommodation requests and maintain HR files per required standards.
Employee Relations:
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related issues, escalating sensitive matters when needed.
• Collaborate with managers on disciplinary actions and conduct workplace investigations alongside HR leadership.
• Review and track performance evaluations, offering support as necessary.
Recruitment and Staffing:
• Work with talent acquisition teams to recruit for open positions and collaborate on job descriptions.
• Partner with compensation teams to analyze market trends and ensure internal equity.
• Conduct interviews and assist in onboarding qualified candidates.
General Responsibilities:
• Support HR-related events, open enrollments, and company meetings.
• Coordinate employee recognition programs and contribute to internal communications such as newsletters.
• Track and analyze HR metrics, documenting workflows and procedures as required.
• Stay updated on HR best practices, trends, and legal regulations to continuously enhance HR functions.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
Proficiency in productivity software and HRIS platforms.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Skills:
Professional HR certification such as PHR.
Experience coordinating employee training programs and managing recognition programs.
Strong analytical and organizational skills for statistical reporting and data preparation.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $40-$45/Hr
