SUMMARYPartner is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Integrated Facility Solutions (IFS) Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) practice managing projects according to deadlines and within budget, drafting proposal scopes, consulting with clients and coordinating internal staff to perform FCA and similar type projects primarily for building owners and operators.Project management responsibilities also include planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. Position includes some responsibility for mentoring junior level staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.).
- Data compilation and organization.
- Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary.
- Technical report authoring.
- Preparation of quality supporting report documents/files
- Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project.
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule.
- Understands the assessment's potential impact for the Owner/Operator.
- Identify and resolve issues with projects.
- Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or by email) to the client.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope.
- Consult with clients during proposal phase and draft proposal scopes.
- Assist internal sales team with client management and project scope needs.
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
- Ability to work on projects concurrently
- Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
- Exceptional writing skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
- Understand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Familiar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems; the Americans with Disabilities Act; Fair Housing Act
Provides assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Mentors junior level staff and provides technical review of MEP / FLS reports. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Construction Management, Architecture, or an Engineering discipline
- Registered Architect or Professional Engineer preferred
- 10+ years experience in facilities maintenance/management, construction, consulting, condition assessments or related industry
- Projects involve a degree of travel. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and provide own transportation to and from project sites
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift
- Requires the ability to climb a ladder
Salary range: $100,000 to $135,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
