Senior Account Executive - Remote within the U.S.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to lead the execution of Kenvue’s consumer promotional activities at Walgreens (and potentially CVS). This role will focus on optimizing consumer promotions through analysis, testing, and a deep understanding of retail trends. The ideal candidate will be the subject matter expert for Walgreens consumer promotions, ensuring smooth campaign execution across digital and traditional media, including platforms like Quotient, Ibotta, and Free-Standing Inserts (FSIs).
Key Responsibilities
General:
- Lead the execution of Kenvue’s consumer promotional activities at Walgreens, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Serve as the primary expert on consumer promotions at Walgreens, leveraging insights into retail and promotional trends.
Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end setup of digital and in-store promotions, including "Only For You" digital coupons, FSIs, and Ibotta rebates.
- Manage vendor estimates, contracting, and portal setup to support promotional activities.
- Track promotional assets, including barcodes/OCRs, creative submissions, and budget allocations to ensure timely and error-free execution.
- Key tasks include:
- Submitting estimate requests and tracking approvals with vendors like Quotient and Ibotta.
- Coordinating UPC and product priorities and preparing pack shots for promotional campaigns.
- Monitoring CEDR requests, OCR tracking, and invoice records.
- Setting up and submitting offers in digital portals like Quotient and Ibotta in advance of launch dates.
- Sending proofs for final approvals before campaign launches.
Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, including Neptune, Catalina, Ibotta, and FSI partners.
- Coordinate timely estimates, contract offers, and necessary deliverables from all vendors.
- Join weekly vendor calls to ensure alignment on launch timing, requirements, and deliverables, and follow up with updates and action items.
Client Management:
- Lead weekly status meetings with clients to provide updates on campaign performance, financial status, and any ad-hoc requests.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all meetings, action items, and outcomes in Kenvue’s Walgreens CFT SharePoint.
Finance:
- Oversee and track promotional budgets, including cost estimates, final spending, vendor invoices, and proof of performance to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Analysis:
- Conduct bi-annual offer analysis in collaboration with vendor partners to assess promotional effectiveness.
- Present insights, identify competitive gaps, and make recommendations for optimization to stakeholders and leadership.
Planning:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with category, retailer, and brand teams to align on campaign objectives and strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership by leveraging best practices and historical performance data to develop promotional calendars and optimize offer structures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 4-6 years in consumer promotions, digital marketing, or retail marketing, preferably within the CPG industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with platforms like Quotient, Ibotta, and FSI distribution channels, along with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Promotional Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital coupons, FSIs, OCR, promotional budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven with the ability to extract insights and drive optimizations.
- Relationship Management: Skilled in managing vendor relationships, client communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
This role requires a proactive, adaptable, and collaborative leader who can drive efficient and impactful promotional activities across digital and traditional channels.

Develop and own assigned relationships that build a trust-based partnership with client teams, agency partners and third-party vendors
Demonstrate working knowledge of consumer/shopper marketing landscapes and the client’s own industry to develop new business opportunities and potential revenue streams within existing client
Design and lead proposal and program development presentations with support and guidance from Director
Supervise and/or directly manage program execution, budgets, tracking, and post promotional reporting in accordance with company systems and processes
Contribute to recruiting, hiring, training, and development of direct reports with support of Director.

Partner with Planning team members to develop category, channel, customer and competitive brand marketplace insights, identify most value consumer targets, communication strategy, innovation opportunities, promotion program objectives, strategies and tactical recommendations for programs, leveraging key consumer/ shopper insights that drive purchase behavior change
When relevant, demonstrate thought leadership, channel expertise and strategic integration with client agency partners
Communicate and interact effectively with internal teams for all departments and/or clients to deliver timely client decisions and approvals
Identify cross-company Marketing Svs revenue-driving opportunities
Successfully manage and develop Agency cross-functional team members

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: 2-4 years of experience in the role of leader/manager in agency, brand management and/or media production preferred
5+ years of experience in consumer product, brand management, media or agency experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
Ability to make oral presentations
Good interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
Strong prioritization skills

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
