Our client, is the largest affiliate of the national organization, with more than 80 programs and 1,300 staff in the metropolitan New York area, Westchester and Nassau Counties, and Northern New Jersey is looking for an Speech Language Pathologist
Type: Direct-Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-3:30pm (Half an Hour unpaid lunch)
Location: Bronx, NY
Principal Responsibilities:
Assess speech-language skills as necessary to determine child's need for therapy.
Provide quality speech therapy services to students as mandated on the IEP.
Consult and interface with colleagues at team meetings.
Provide parent training and ongoing communication with parents.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation.
Provide in-service training and participate in staff development activities.
Meet with supervisor on ongoing basis.
Perform other related duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
New York State Certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped, or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities and Master's degree in speech-language pathology and/or NYS Professional License as a Speech Language Pathologist
