Your Role
Responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving of all Precious Jewelry inventory and the inventory control processes.
WhatYou’llDo
- Process merchandise receipts (primarily jewelry), inter-store transfers, RTV’s, price changes, etc., in accordance with Merchandise Handling Standards, using the ICE inventory management system.
- Set items up in the product catalog from information contained on a vendor invoice or consignment memo. Determine retail pricing using a chart of standard mark-ups or an Excel-based spreadsheet calculator.
- Photograph merchandise for inventory management purposes and attach the photo to the data record for each style.
- Ticket merchandise, ensuring the correct ticket with the correct retail price is placed on each item.
- Open mail and unpack boxes received from vendors. (Boxes are generally under 20 lbs. in weight.) Prepare interpack boxes for outbound shipments, and place in consolidation area. Box shipments, packing to ensure merchandise will not be damaged in transit. Attach mailing labels.
- Perform weekly piece counts to ensure merchandise stored in the Distribution Center is physically on-hand. Perform full inventory scans at month-end, and during physical inventory taken semi-annually. Report variances to the Distribution Center Manager.
- Prepare merchandise and paperwork for photo shoots. Transport merchandise to photo shots as required.
- Maintain operational files in accordance with the Precious Jewelry File Retention Standard. Assist with supply maintenance.
- Perform other special tasks or projects related to inventory processing and control, as assigned.

- Prior bookkeeping, audit experience with paper work mentality is essential. Individual must have working knowledge of precious jewelry systems and attention to detail.
