Job Summary
Performs direct and indirect functions in the Interventional Radiology. Assists all staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care. Utilizing specialized equipment to perform a variety of invasive, surgical and diagnostic procedures. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician usage. Maintains inventory levels in department. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists General Radiographer certification, State of Florida (HRS ) Current ARRT License Current BLS certification
Minimum Experience
Prefer one year hospital experience providing cardiac cath, radiology, or special procedures experience.

Working Conditions:
- Subject to normal working conditions
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- On-call duty
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to lift, move or turn patients.
- Occasionally required to lift greater than 40 pounds with staff assistance and/or approved lifting device
- Consistently required to communicate with patients and staff.
- Competencies in literacy (ability to write and speak English).
- Routine exposure to radiation with appropriate barrier provided
