Special Education Teacher - Every Special Child

Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in San Jose, CA.

• Mild/Moderate Resource Specialist Teacher (RSP) for Elementary
• Mild/Moderate Resource Specialist Teacher (RSP) for Middle School
• Start date: Immediate
• End Date: Jun 2025

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
• Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
• You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
• Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
• Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
• Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
• Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
• Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
• Collaborate with the support staff
• All other duties related to the program.

Requirements:

• Valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist License
• 1+ years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.
