Special Education Teacher – Temporary Assignment

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry is representing a well-established, children’s psychiatric center in their search for experienced Special Education Teachers to join their team. This organization supports 5–21 year olds. Start dates are available ASAP or January 2025. This is a temporary assignment with potential to be extended.

Pay rate: $25-$31/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. 40-hour work week.

Location: The Bronx, near the Middletown Rd 6-train stop.

Responsibilities for the Special Education Teacher:

• Creating lesson plans
• Managing classroom behaviors to help keep students engaged
• Helping students explore learning opportunities and career paths
• Assisting students individually with extra help they may need
• Developing, assigning, grading, and testing student assessments
