Job Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher for SY 24-25. This role is an excellent opportunity to positively impact students with diverse learning needs and support them in reaching their full potential.

Some Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction that meets students’ unique needs and learning goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, administrators, and families to promote student success.
• Assess students’ academic, social, and emotional progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
• Maintain an organized, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Utilize adaptive technologies and evidence-based teaching practices to enhance learning outcomes.
• Stay current on federal, state, and district special education policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (required).
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification.
• At least 1 year Special Education Teacher experience
