HealthPro Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity available for a Special Education Teacher in Millbrae, California!
- ASAP start date - May 30, 2025
Hours: 8:30 AM- 4:00 (7 per day billable, plus 30-minute unpaid lunch) Total billable: 35 hr/wk. - Required:
Current CA SPED teaching credential (print CTC credential page to attach with resume)
Must have CLAD and Added Autism Authorizations (or willing to obtain) to be considered for an extended contract for the 25-26 SY if a permanent teacher is not hired.
Driver's license with own transportation. - Preferred:
Minimum 2 years of current school district teaching experience
Experienced in TouchMatch, and Sonday curriculum - Caseload/Duties:
Small caseload
Provide classroom instruction differentiated for each student's learning needs and in accordance with IEP goals.
Case management for students on caseload
Set up, facilitate and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs
Conduct formal assessments.
Attend SPED trainings as requested
Collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
Manage, train and support assigned paraeducator - Hourly rate: $56-$58

Responsibilities:- Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits
- Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
- Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
- Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
