Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) to join our team in East Los Angeles, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher (Mild/Mod) with Case Management Support
• Location: Los Angeles, CA, 90022
• Start Date: November 25, 2024 (ASAP)
• End Date: June 5, 2025
• Duration: 27 weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• Compensation: depends on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person Special Education services to students, primarily in a push-in model
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning
• Perform case management duties later in the spring term as needed
• Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
• Follow the school's dress code: Business Casual (no jeans or sneakers)

Requirements:

• Must have appropriate credentials and experience for a Mild/Moderate Special Education teaching role
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and support student academic and social success
• Strong communication and organizational skills
