We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in California. The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction, support, and guidance to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement personalized Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, adjusting curriculum to suit individual learning styles.
- Monitor student progress and modify teaching plans to meet evolving needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of the entire classroom.
- Cultivate inclusive classrooms by collaborating closely with general education teachers and support staff, promoting a holistic and supportive learning environment.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid California teaching credential or eligibility for certification in Special Education.
- Early Childhood Education Certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and dedication to meeting the unique needs of students with special needs.
