Special Education Teachers needed throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area!
Details:
- Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School.
- Contracted for the 24/25 School Year.
As a Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Create engaging learning environments.
- Provide personalized support to students.
- Implement curriculum goals.
- Evaluate student progress.
- Uphold values and model good behavior.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned.
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education.
- Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of educational technology applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas Generalist/Core content Teaching Certification with required endorsements or training for relevant subject and level (preferred).
- Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certification.
- 1 year of successful Special Education teaching experience in a K-12 school preferred.
Pay:
- $48-$52/hr.
Room to negotiate pay based on experience.
