Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Chicago area. This role is instrumental in helping students meet their academic goals as stated in their Individualized Education Plans. This school district is staffing for a multitude of classroom openings throughout their preschool and elementary schools.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Role: Elementary Special Education Teacher
• Location: Chicago, IL 60185
• Age/Grades: K-1 Self-Contained
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week
• Duration: January through June 12th, 2025 (flexible for short-term coverage if needed)
• Compensation: based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• License: Valid IL LBS1 Endorsement
• Experience:
  • Preference to teachers with 2 years of experience
  • Preference to Autism experience
  • MUST have IEP experience
