Insight Global is partnering with a school district to help them hire for 2 Special Education Teacher positions. These positions are located in Belmont, CA and are full time opportunities.

Early Childhood Education Specialist:

Must Haves:

• Education Specialist Teaching Credential for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/severe
• English Learner Authorization
• Early Childhood Special Education Credential ( will be working with 3 year olds and younger)
• California Teaching Credential
• 1+ years of experience within Special education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field

Mod/Severe Education Specialist:

Must Haves:

• Education Specialist Teaching Credential for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/severe
• English Learner Authorization
• California Teaching Credential
• 1+ years of experience within Special education.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field

Day to Day:

• Provides ongoing educational assessment of children for the purpose of identifying special learning
• differences and coordinates the development of IEPs as appropriate for those students identified with special
• needs.
• Consults with appropriate specialist(s) regarding the support service to be rendered by such persons,
• including, but not limited to: speech and language pathologists, school psychologists, general education
• teachers, school nurses, behavior team, etc. in sharing the responsibilities for implementing the IEP.
• Provides educational instruction as outlined in the IEP for identified students with exceptional needs.
• For students who receive general education:
• Coordinates special education services with the general education program for each student with
• exceptional needs and monitors the implementation of the IEP.
• Provides consultation, resource information, and materials to general education staff regarding
• students with exceptional needs.
• Instructs, motivates, and effectively communicates with students.
