Overview:As a Spa Supervisor, you will work in a beautiful space as you fill a leadership role in ensuring guest satisfaction through spa and retail services. You will be responsible for always keeping a clean well-stocked space. You will be focused on optimizing each guest’s experience by providing a warm, relaxing, personalized, and incredibly friendly environment to every guest. You will oversee and support the Spa Coordinators ensuring they are performing the tasks and duties at hand. The Spa Supervisor will perform opening/closing duties as requested. You will be trained in accountability, scheduling, ordering/inventory, and other leadership duties as the season progresses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities is to provide excellent professional service to Sanderling Resort guests, and staff in a warm, relaxing, team environment. Must possess leadership qualities, promote an environment of teamwork, positivity, and excellence!• Be able to make clear concise decisions.

• Problem resolution – must be able to resolve issues quickly.

• Be able to have open communication with the entire team.
• Be able to train Spa Coordinators.
• Must always provide exceptional service.
• Weekly and Monthly inventory of spa supplies.
• Answer all telephone calls within in a timely manner and use guest's name when responding.
• Schedule spa reservations for guests using guest's name at every opportunity. Explain/describe in detail Spa treatments, specials, services, and facilities available in a timely, helpful, and friendly manner.
• Verify scheduling details and information with guest. Reconfirm day, time, type of treatment.
• Maintain a clean and organized desk/lobby area. Be aware of the retail area and keep always organized.
• Utilize Spa computers with skill and proficiency.
• Communicate all pertinent information with the team and management.
• Call for confirmation.
• Manage clean and dirty laundry.
• Clean, stock, and sanitize locker room, lounge, wet areas, and fitness center as needed throughout the day.
• Roll towels.
• Clean showers and replenish shower amenities.
• Set up / empty / sanitize lockers.
• Spa Supervisor must maintain a flexible schedule and be able to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• The Spa Supervisor must be able to maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while multi-tasking and facilitating smooth flow throughout spa and fitness areas.
• You must have a pleasant attitude with a willingness to assist our members/guests/staff, have good phone and computer skills, be able to navigate appointment calendar.
• As a supervisor you must lead by example, promoting a pleasant environment of teamwork and cohesiveness.Qualifications:
• 2+ years' experience in a Spa, Retail, and /or customer service setting preferred.
• Computer proficiency and communication skills required.
• Someone with working knowledge of computer programs including Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of POS/Booking Software.
• Someone with excellent Interpersonal, communication and listening skills – with both external and internal customers.
• Someone with a flexible schedule that allows them to work weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking required.
• Someone who can frequently bend, push/pull, and lifting/carrying of up to 30 lbs. and occasional lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs. Other:
The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift as business demands.
