Overview
Opportunity: Spa Manager
Oversee the daily operations of the Spa including the spa’s operational needs, guest service, and any employment related issues or need. All responsibilities should be performed in accordance with departmental, property and company policies, practices and procedures.

Position Requirements
- Manage operational functions consistent with strategic plan and vision for the department and property.
- Interview, select, train and schedule spa specialists.
- Manage the delivery of guest service consistent with company’s and property’s core service standards.
- Supervise Spa staff to ensure they adhere and enforce company and Spa policies and procedures as well as being alert to their duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure client experience is proficient including bookings, payments, and consultation cards
- Drive team to meet and exceed agreed revenue targets through creative internal/external marketing
- Meeting department annual budget and be accountable for maintaining and operating within financial targets
- Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure continuous service and programme improvement
- Participate in quarterly inventory
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits, and ensure all staff is practicing safe work habits including wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service and leadership experience of a high end spa required, two to five years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Spa industry required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication required.
- Knowledge of general health and sanitation codes.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 30 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Experience with on line booking appointment system.
- Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment and Context
- Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching; stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
