About the Job
The Solutions Architect acts as a technical strategist and expert, responsible for designing and optimizing tailored IT and cybersecurity solutions that align with client goals, internal capabilities, and Next Perimeter's core service offerings. Bridging Professional Services, Managed Services, and Sales, this role ensures solutions are secure, scalable, and operationally efficient, enhancing client outcomes and organizational value.
Core Responsibilities
1. Solution Design
- Client Needs Assessment:
- Partner with Sales to understand client goals, challenges, and technical environments.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess infrastructure, software, security posture, and operational workflows.
- Solution Development:
- Design solutions leveraging Next Perimeter's offerings, including:
- Identity management solutions.
- Endpoint management.
- Security services (EDR, SASE, MXDR).
- Network standards.
- Advanced lifecycle management processes (pre-kitting, device disposal, etc.).
- Ensure solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with MSAs/SOWs.
- Design solutions leveraging Next Perimeter's offerings, including:
- Standardization and Customization:
- Create reusable solution templates for common scenarios to streamline scoping and delivery.
- Customize solutions for complex, high-value accounts based on unique client requirements.
2. Pre-Sales and Scoping Support
- Technical Collaboration:
- Act as a technical advisor, supporting sales and account teams during the pre-sales process.
- Review MSAs/SOWs to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and contractual scope.
- Scoping and Documentation:
- Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, resource plans, and dependencies for deployment.
- Translate technical needs into clear, actionable deliverables for internal teams and clients.
3. Technical Oversight
- Project Handoff:
- Provide comprehensive solution documentation to Professional Services for seamless execution.
- Remain available as a technical escalation point during deployment for clarification and guidance.
- Managed Services Alignment:
- Ensure long-term supportability of solutions by aligning designs with Managed Services capabilities.
- Collaborate with Managed Services on monitoring tools, workflows, and security configurations.
4. Technology Strategy
- Product and Service Alignment:
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend tools that enhance Next Perimeter's offerings.
- Contribute to the evolution of service offerings, including advanced lifecycle management and enhanced monitoring.
- Vendor Management:
- Serve as a technical liaison with key vendors (e.g., Microsoft).
- Provide feedback to vendors on product gaps, usability, and client satisfaction.
5. Documentation and Process Development
- High-Quality Documentation:
- Develop network diagrams, technical workflows, and solution designs that align with company standards.
- SOP Contribution:
- Collaborate with department heads to create SOPs for solutions, ensuring clarity and consistency across teams.

2.Client Satisfaction:
- Positive client feedback on proposed solutions.
- Fewer escalations due to accurate scoping and clear designs.

- Reduction in scoping time for standard engagements.
4.Technology Adoption:
- Effective integration of new tools/services into solutions.
- Positive feedback on vendor partnerships and tool outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years in IT, sales engineering, or solutions design roles.
- Experience designing solutions within Microsoft 365, Entra/Azure AD, Intune, or similar environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of identity and access management, endpoint management, cybersecurity tools (EDR, SASE), and cloud-native solutions.
- Proficiency with solution scoping, technical diagrams, and documentation.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational abilities.
