POSITION SUMMARY:
The Solutions Architect works with the user community to gather, understand, and document requirements to design and implement complex software solutions, data models, interfaces, ETL, and reporting in an Azure environment. Must be proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ADF Pipelines, and deciphering existing and creating new complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures. Must have a thorough understanding of Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and Microsoft SQL Server databases including interfaces and data warehouse design concepts. Essential components of this position are working under minimal supervision while gaining a thorough understanding of legacy software, data, and interfaces to designing new ones.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates and partners with the Business to gather requirements, design, and implement software and database solutions and integrations.
- Designs and produces software and database solutions and integrations for the Business.
- Analyzes complex data relationships, troubleshoots/resolves issues, and determines solutions that produce the desired outcome/information.
- Works independently with little or no supervision and direction.
- Manages critical situations, which may involve complex technical, hardware, or software problems.
- Produces technical documentation of projects/tasks including specifications and design documents.
- Follows all prescribed standards as defined by Information Technology Team (I.T.T.).
- Maintains a high service-oriented attitude and takes ownership of issues/assigned projects.
- Communicates effectively and professionally exercising excellent oral and written communications with all levels of technical and non-technical teams.
- Performs any other tasks required by I.T. T. Management for the successful operation of all I.T.T. services provided to our clients.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- No direct supervision of other company associates.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years developing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, SSIS jobs, and SSRS reports.
- Preferred five (5) years of Microsoft .Net full-stack Software Development experience and current expertise in C#, .Net, and service-oriented development.
- Experience with cloud platform technologies Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Factory required.
- Experience with Crystal Reports a plus
- Knowledge of Title business is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of SoftPro Select title order system a plus
SKILLS:
- Adept at conducting research and discovery into project-related issues and products.
- Superior analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating pipelines, data flows, and complex data transformations and manipulations using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Programming experience using Azure Dev Ops, T-SQL, C#, .NET, SSRS, and SSIS in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
- Utilizing data storage solutions including Azure BLOB storage, ADLS Gen 2.
- Strong Knowledge of App Services (Functions, WebApps, etc.) in Azure
- Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web services (REST) development using .NET, Web API, WCF, etc.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess organizational, time management, and motivational skills.
- Can perform well with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Team Player with a strong work ethic.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical Physical Demands:
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
- Position requires long periods of work at a desk, utilizing a keyboard and monitor.
- Some travel may be required at times.
Working Conditions:
- Available to work evenings and/or weekends (as required).
- Location Miami, FL preferred. Must be able to work in a home office conducive to remote work.
- Workdays and hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
