Solution Architect- Cloud and SaaS Solutions - LiveU

Location: US Remote (East Coast preferred), with travel as needed

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect with a strong background in broadcast and sports production. This role will play a critical part in aligning our solutions with customer business objectives, supporting complex workflows, and delivering tailored architectures. The ideal candidate will bring industry-specific expertise, particularly within the broadcast and sports production sectors, to help customers unlock the full potential of LiveU’s technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Discovery and Industry Alignment:

• Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with broadcast and sports production clients to understand their unique workflows, technical challenges, and strategic objectives.
• Identify how LiveU’s solutions (e.g., LiveU Studio, Ingest, Matrix, and LiveU IQ) can enhance client operations, maximising value and return on investment.
• Translate insights into workflow diagrams, solution proposals and scopes of work that are tailored to the demands of broadcast and sports production environments.

Solution Design and Architecture for Broadcast and Sports Production:

• Design end-to-end solutions that address both technical and business needs, focusing on outcome-driven architectures that integrate seamlessly with broadcast and sports production workflows.
• Develop detailed scopes of work to guide solution implementation, ensuring alignment with both technical and operational needs in the broadcast and sports sectors.
• Create solution proposals that are clear, industry-relevant, and strategically aligned with the client’s goals.

Customer Engagement and Consultative Advisory:

• Serve as a trusted advisor for strategic customers, particularly in broadcast and sports production, guiding them through each stage from discovery to deployment.
• Support sales and engineering teams by providing industry-specific insights, technical demonstrations, and solution architecture guidance.
• Maintain a consultative approach to customer interactions, ensuring smooth project delivery and high satisfaction by aligning solutions with client expectations and industry standards.

Project Management and Execution:

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to implementation, ensuring a high level of coordination, execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to facilitate seamless execution, actively resolving challenges that may arise in broadcast or sports production settings.
• Keep internal and client stakeholders informed of project progress, ensuring consistent alignment with customer goals and industry best practices.

Industry Collaboration and Product Insight:

• Build and maintain strong relationships within the broadcast and sports production industries, leveraging insights to enhance LiveU’s product offerings.
• Work closely with product management teams, sharing valuable feedback and market trends to influence the product roadmap in ways that support broadcast and sports production customers.

Requirements:

• Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, solution engineering, or a similar role within the broadcast, sports production, or media technology sectors.
• Proven success in aligning technical solutions with business goals, particularly within broadcast and sports production workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of media streaming, video encoding, live broadcast technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong customer engagement skills, with experience in conducting discovery sessions and transforming technical requirements into business-aligned solutions.
• Relevant certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in solution-based and consultative sales approaches specific to broadcast and sports production SaaS.
• Experience with IP/RTP, video encoding, cellular networks, and tools widely used in the broadcast and sports production industries.
• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities and a strong background in live broadcasts and sports production workflows
