Software Release Manager - Gus Perdikakis Associates

As a Software Release Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing software projects related to the proprietary Warehouse Execution System (WES). You'll be responsible for overseeing project customizations, timelines, and ensuring successful product releases on a global scale. The role demands collaboration across global teams, a keen focus on product quality, and the ability to manage the complexities of software deployment and upgrades within the warehouse execution systems and supply chain space.

Key duties include:

• Leading daily scrum meetings and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to meet project milestones.
• Developing and maintaining detailed release project plans, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and forecasting.
• Identifying potential risks to project success and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Writing product documentation, release notes, and training materials.
• Managing and overseeing testing quality, and handling deployment feedback for product improvements.

Job Requirements:

• Business or technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience in software project management (Agile), strong understanding of WES, and proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project).
• PMP/ScrumMaster certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a customer-focused approach.

This position can by hybrid with regular visits to the northern Cincinnati, Ohio office when needed.
