Envestnet is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join our Revenue Manager team. This position is expected to report to our Boston, MA office location.

Job Summary:

The position of Software Developer (Intern) includes assisting with the designing, coding and testing of applications as well as providing technical support and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle

Job Responsibilities:

• Help design, build and maintain reusable C#.Net code by writing clean, scalable code 
  
• Support projects through entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in the requirements analysis and research gathering process, and/or writing documentation such as user guides or other forms of documentation.
  
• Interact with team members (end-users, testers, dev ops, project managers) in a team-oriented fashion.
  
• Assist in system improvements and bug fixing
  
• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.  
  
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university
  
• Familiarity with .NET framework and experience developing C#/.NET applications
  
• Knowledge of Visual Studio development environment or similar IDE
  
• Basic familiarity with GIT or Bitbucket version control systems
  
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  
• Applicant must possess good written and spoken English language skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or familiarity with ASP.NET framework, Server Design/architecture patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC)), and general Server-Side Development is a PLUS.

Envestnet’s Summer Internship Program: 

Envestnet’s Summer Internship Program provides a paid, 10-week, full-time experience for qualified students to learn more about Envestnet and what we do. Interns will receive hands on exposure to the inner workings of their teams and functions.

The 2025 Summer Internship program will begin on June 9th, 2025, and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. All interns must be a commutable distance to an office location and will be expected to work in office.
