Software Engineer in Test at WITS (Wistron ITS)

Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) ( Selenium, Cypress, and API testing).

Location: Lake Forest, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week).

Experience: Minimum 5+ years.

Eligibility: US Citizens and Green Card holders only.

Visa Status: No sponsorship or relocation support available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and execute test plans in line with software design requirements.
2. Build and maintain test environments and develop comprehensive test cases to standardize product testing.
3. Perform effective test case execution, identify defects, and manage defect tracking.
4. Drive process improvements and share testing insights with the team.
5. Continuously enhance testing methodologies and skills through ongoing learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of experience in software testing.
2. Strong familiarity with software testing theory, processes, and technologies, including functional, automated, and security testing.
3. Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and API testing.
4. Proven ability to create test plans, frameworks, and cases.
5. Excellent defect analysis and logical thinking abilities.
6. Experience with agile project testing is a plus.
7. Knowledge of programming languages such as C# is highly desirable.
