About the Job
As a software engineer on the program, he'll be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and defining requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy client needs. You'll develop, maintain, support, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, providing specific input and system design, and adhering to formal design processes and guidelines. You'll design and develop user friendly interfaces, maintain technical documentation, and ensure quality control software. You will select development processes, recommend new technologies and troubleshoot complex software problems.
Education and Experience
5+ years of professional experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
- Ability to complete development work on the high side Linux environment
- Security plus certification
- Java experience (any level of experience is acceptable)
- Python experience
- Mongo experience
- Postgres experience
- Appian experience (minimum of two years of experience designing, developing or supporting Appian or Appian-based applications)
- Ability to obtain ASCII with Poly level security clearance
- Skilled in communications with government customers on issues
- Cloud experience
- fFmiliar with DIA engineering environment
- Ability to capture user issues and feedback
- Ability to create sustainable processes
- FIDBOS-X experience
- Skilled in engineering efforts (using Appian) of core processes for a federal government agency
