Our team is a creative and collaborative group building applications that unlock the creativity of our customers.
Our Android mobile team is part of the larger Adobe Video organization, building video creation and editing experiences across desktop, mobile, and web.
As a member of our team, you'll work closely with our Product and Design teams to build new features and experiences.We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated, Software Engineer with demonstrated experience building Android applications.
This is an outstanding opportunity for you to join a very early team that is innovating, evolving, and growing our video tools to meet the needs of storytellers! A successful candidate will be a strong technical leader on this team.
You'll make use of your excellent social skills to effectively communicate ideas and influence others.
You will own features, provide creative solutions and have opportunities for ownership and influence on product direction.
You'll write performant, high-quality code and own development for complex features providing accountability and ownership for everything you do. Come work with us! Ideal QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science10+ years of product experience developing apps, including AndroidProficient with Android Java and/or KotlinProven ability in crafting and maintaining testable codePassion for learning, sharing of new ideas and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to challengesThrives in a fast-paced, agile environmentValues clarity and simplicity in codePreferred QualificationsExperience coding with KotlinExperience with Jetpack Compose, Media3Familiarity with GITExperience with multi-threading programming and mobile memory managementExperience building video and/or multimedia appsFamiliar with video editingOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S.
geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
The U.S.
pay range for this position is $170,500 -- $320,000 annually.
Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
