Shipping, Receiving, & Inventory Specialist - Valco Companies

We are currently looking for Full-Time Shipping, Receiving, & Inventory Specialist in our New Holland, PA facility. The position is first shift, Monday through Friday. Pay starts up to $18 per hour, and negotiable dependent on experience.

Benefits offered:

• Starting up to $18.00/hr
• PTO eligibility after 90 days
• Benefits eligibility 1st of month following 30 days; including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
  Quarterly Incentive Bonus (up to $500 per quarter)
• 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm), Monday-Friday
• Weekly pay

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep apprised of proper overall weight and weight distribution for each load.
• Prepare and load orders for motor freight, UPS, & FED EX service and customer pick-up as required in a timely and efficient manner.
• Check that orders are safely packaged to prevent damage during shipment.
• Load and unload trucks as required in a timely and efficient manner assuring that shipments are properly packaged and loaded to prevent damage in transit.
• Coordinate Cross dock activities to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all daily requirements.
• Ensure all cross-dock items are packaged and labeled in accordance to established practices.
• Disperse and process returned goods and complete proper paperwork.
• Inventory checks (cycle counting).
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Willing to obtain Forklift License.
• Must have good organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to visualize load and make packaging as needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to operate computer competently.
