What does a Shipping Clerk do?

As a Shipping Clerk at Tomaxusa.com, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our daily orders are processed efficiently and dispatched timely. Each day, the accounting team prepares orders that must be shipped out the same day, requiring you to enter invoice numbers into our system, where shipping labels auto-populate with essential information. Precision is key; you will need to print all labels and accurately affix them to the corresponding pre-packaged boxes. You'll also designate the shipping method - whether it be overnight or standard - ensuring everything is tailored to our customers' needs.

While performing this role, you'll engage in light data sorting, making basic Excel knowledge advantageous. Fast typing skills are essential to maintain the pace in this high-energy, collaborative environment, where teamwork is crucial to meet shipping deadlines and provide excellence in customer service.

What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Shipping Clerk at Tomaxusa.com, you will need a blend of essential skills and attributes.
