Four Hands is hiring a Shipping Associate to join our dedicated warehouse team! We are looking for hard working team players to contribute to our well established furniture wholesale business. In This Role
- Load and unload containers and or trucks
- Handle finished materials and move them to appropriate storage areas within the warehouse
- Meet productivity requirements as needed
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team
- Other duties as assigned by Management
The Ideal Person
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
- Forklift operator experience/certification a plus
- Proficiency in metric reporting using Microsoft Excel, preferred
- Maintain an exceptionally clean and safe work environment
- Proficient in identifying items across various documentation, such as customer orders, labels, manifests, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladings
- Skilled in creative problem-solving techniques
- Willingness to acquire new knowledge, skills and abilities
- Effectively manage ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to stand/lift for up to 8 hours
