Shift Leader in Training - Chick-fil-A

Our Shift Leads are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Lead's main area of focus is running the shift (either in the Front or Back of House). Shift Leads lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Lead Responsibilities:

• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Leading their team to deliver a remarkable guest experience during their shifts
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Support other leaders 
• Sees the entirety of the business and works with other Operation Leads to make sure the front and back of house are one team.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Identify and develop team members with leadership potential.
• Ensure Morning, Afternoon, and Evening checklists are completed.
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Has reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
• Strong commitment to superior customer service
• Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• Demonstrates a commitment to Integrity, Excellence, & Continuous Improvement
• Able to complete required tasks and meet availability requirements
• Prior experience (at-least one continuous year) as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is required
