Position Overview:
- As a ServiceNow Principal Technical Architect, play a pivotal role in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform for client’s.
- The expertise will be crucial in shaping large-scale enterprise applications using best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other architects to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- As a ServiceNow Technical Architect, the expertise in ServiceNow ITSM Pro, IRM Std, SAM Pro, ITBM, and ITOM will be essential to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Solution Design:
- Architect and develop technical roadmaps to foster growth and innovation in line with strategic business objectives. This includes your 8-10 years expertise in ServiceNow ITSM Pro, IRM Std, SAM Pro, ITBM, Employee Experience Center, Now Mobile, App Engine Studio, ITOM, and LLMs within ServiceNow.
- Lead and engage in critical engineering processes, including solution design and code reviews, to ensure excellence in technical delivery.
- Technical Leadership:
- Knowledge of ServiceNow code standards, and sustainability practices
- Help direct and oversee the development engineering functions within the team, providing a clear technical vision and guidance.
- Contribute code as an active member of the team and establish oneself as the authoritative expert for the entire code lifecycle.
- Proactively anticipate technical and data issues, ensuring technical debt is managed and reduced effectively.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and convert requirements into well-defined technical specifications and actionable designs.
- Implementation:
- Assume diverse roles ranging from prototyping and technical support during proposal stages to overseeing full-scale implementation projects.
- Drive rapid value creation by identifying the most efficient paths for iterative delivery and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and optimize development efficiency, operational effectiveness, code quality, and overall value delivery, making strategic adjustments, as necessary.
- Collaborates on the design and implementation of a platform operating model that improves the likelihood of successful go-lives and end-user adoption.
- Governance:
- Engage in governance activities to enforce best practices and standards across development processes.
- Leads technical governance processes and participates in the ServiceNow Steering Committee.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
- Communicate essential information to facilitate effective planning and execution of development engineering tasks in agile sprints.
- Help oversee the training and development of engineers, coordinating with immediate manager to align efforts.
- Implement strategies to ensure knowledge retention within the team through comprehensive documentation, commentary, and equitable work distribution.
- Collaboration:
- Ensure cohesive alignment with enterprise-wide architecture, agile methodologies, security protocols, product development, legal/compliance considerations, engineering quality assurance, and other relevant groups.
- Promote a culture of transparency and collaboration, facilitating cross-functional knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
- Operations:
- Resolve technical issues, validate assumptions, and verify approaches to maintain operational continuity.

- Collaboration: Effectively communicates to a wide variety of audiences at all organizational levels, including the C-Suite.

- Knowledgeability: Leverages extensive platform experience to assist customers in developing solutions, minimizing technical debt.
- Technical Evaluation: Provides technical evaluation of strategic and operational demands against the ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and leading practices.
- Analytical Skills: Analyzes and translates business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, proposing solutions to achieve complex business objectives.
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is highly preferred.
- 8-10 years Industry experience as a ServiceNow developer or architect with a Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and customization options.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in end-to-end software development life cycle and successful delivery of technical solutions.
- Visionary Thinking: A forward-thinking mindset to drive innovation and improve user experiences.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Leadership: Prior experience in leading solution reviews and leading technical governance boards.
