About the Job
The Senior Analyst- ServiceNow Administrator specializing in ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM is key contributor to the successful modern IT and business management of Maximus. Will be responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to streamline IT services management, asset management, and operations management. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, including knowledge of scripting languages and a deep understanding of IT processes. Successful candidates come with a proven track record of supporting and managing applications and integrations that enhance system efficiency and user satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
- Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
• Will also be responsible for managing existing ServiceNow code and architecture, and work with key business units to troubleshoot existing solutions and processes, supporting maintenance, continual service improvement, and support new capabilities on the ServiceNow platform.
• Scripting and coding within the ServiceNow platform to meet project deliverables.
• Rewrite and adapt code to align with evolving business requirements.
• Will be responsible for core system configuration as well as day-to-day user requests and incidents.
• Should have experience configuring core ServiceNow modules including Service Catalog, Asset, Integration hub, Discovery, Service Mapping.
• Leverage Flow Designer to further mature the service catalog and migrate away from workflows.
• Provide technical guidance on existing workflows for streamlining and improved efficiencies.
• Own the upgrade cycle of ServiceNow, including testing via the use of the Automated Test Framework.
• Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the ServiceNow product, version upgrades, enhancements, new features, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
- Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- General application of concepts and principles.
- Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
- Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Communicates on complex or sensitive issues or drafts such responses for supervisor or manager.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven track record with at least two ServiceNow implementation projects
- 6+ years of experience in relevant development role.
- Good understanding of ITIL, Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps pipeline technologies.
- Experience with Advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting and other use case areas are highly desirable.
- Hands on experience in Service Catalog/Service Portal modules.
- Experience with Flow designer, Workspaces and UI Designer desirable.
- Ability to draft and document test plans for both a technical and business user audience.
- Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite.
- Strong relationship management skills; able to interface effectively with all organizational levels; users, team members, and management.
- Strong time management and planning skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with minimum supervision.
• ServiceNow System Admin Certification required.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist plus

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
