As a ServiceNow Service Portal Architect, you will guide client stakeholders in defining innovative solutions to help them solve their most challenging problems. Leveraging the ServiceNow Service Portal, Employee Portal, and UI Builder based Frameworks to transform client experiences. In this role, it is expected that you also have in-depth understanding of the following key modules of ServiceNow (IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM)).What You’ll Do
• Design and develop customized ServiceNow Service Portals, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user experience standards
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into functional portals
• Ensure that portal interface is intuitive, responsive, and aligns with best practices
• Write and optimize JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS for custom widgets and components
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct demos, and provide guidance on Service Portal functionalities and improvements
• Troubleshooting using not only ServiceNow capabilities, but other best practice methodologies
• Leverage your knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform backend, select appropriate of out-of-the-box widgets, and the extensively set of ServiceNow API’s to provide the best possible solutions for client portals.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate performance, functionality, and compatibility across different devices and browsers
• Build/Create technically detailed Agile Stories that can be easily consumed by other portal developers
• Travel expectations up to 30%; Regional travel opportunities What You’ll Bring

• You have experience delivering complex ServiceNow implementations, with multiple stakeholders ̶ recommending and implementing solutions for exceptional outcomes.

• Ability to communicate and build relationships with all levels of an organization from end users to senior executives, including both technical and non-technical audience
• Capable and reliable in meeting tight schedules and deadlines as well as high attention to detail while maintaining clear customer expectations throughout the life cycle of an engagementExperience/Education/Certifications
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on Service Portal development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS
• Experience in designing and building custom widgets in ServiceNow
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and business stakeholders
• Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and Service Portal configurations

For this position at the Principal level the base salary pay range is $140,000 to $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
